2011 Audi Q5: quattro 4dr 2.0T Premium S-Line Interior & Exterior Package

The Audi Q5 is a mid-size crossover that is both stylish and sporty. The sportiness factor comes form the Audi's engine; the sole engine offered in the Q5 is a 3.2L six cylinder. The venerable six cylinder is a carryover form the previous year's model, and has drawn rave review from both drivers and critics alike. The reason for the reviews are simple; the engine is a great balance between performance and fuel economy.

The engine is able to produce two hundred seventy horsepower at six thousand three hundred revolutions per minute, and it produces two hundred forty-three pounds of torque at three thousand revolutions per minute. The engine is unchanged from last year's model, producing the same horsepower and torque ratings as the 2009 model.

The engine utilizes a dual overhead cam valve train that requires premium unleaded gasoline. All of this power is shifted through a 6 speed automatic transmission with the "tiptronic" feature that is fed to all four wheels through Audi's "quattro" all wheel drive system. The Audi Q5 powerplant is able to push the crossover through the quarter mile in fifteen and one half seconds at a maximum speed of ninety-three miles per hour. The engine also returns a zero to sixty acceleration time of seven and one-tenth seconds.

Yet despite all of this performance, the Audi is also very thrifty in the fuel economy department. The Environmental Protection Agency has rated the Q5 at eighteen miles per gallon in city driving, and twenty-three miles per gallon in highway driving. And lest we forget that this is a crossover vehicle, the Audi Q5 has the ability to tow four thousand four hundred pounds when properly fitted. The Audit Q5 is a well-rounded vehicle that has a variety of abilities for the the active driver.

Audi has released the first photos of their S-line treatment applied to the new Q5 compact SUV that made its debut at last week's 2008 Beijing Show. The S line exterior package which will be available as an option imparts a slightly more sporty look to the compact SUV thanks to the bespoke 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 255/45 R20 performance tires, black exterior window trim roof rails, polished grille and honeycomb-styled air-vents surrounding the fog lights. -Continued

The S-Line interior package sports a three spoke multifunction steering wheel with perforated leather, brushed aluminum inlays, front sport seats with S line logo embroidered into the seat back, aluminum door sills with S line badge and perforated leather shift knob.
